Rain, Rain, Go Away!

That's what everyone around here is chanting these days!  WOW!  Have we ever had the rain!  Table Rock is at 127% capacity this morning.  Flooding is going on everywhere and it just keeps going up.  PLUS, there is now more rain in the forecast.  It is really sad to see all of the destruction going on.  I'm glad I live on higher grounds and in an area that is easy to get in and out of.

My prayers do go out to my friends down in Arkansas who are dealing with the flooding AND tornadoes.  Spring in the Ozarks is beautiful and dangerous all at the same time.

This past weekend, it rained non-stop from Friday night thru Monday night.  I got a lot done in my house, which was nice.  I was able to get almost all my retreat stuff put away.  It's nice to have some calm time after there chaos of the retreat!

Been Outta Touch!

I've not been lost or anything, just outta touch because of my Crazy Cropper Scrapbook Retreat!  Boy, did we have a wonderful time!  But BOY was I tired when I got home yesterday! I was in bed by 8:30 and slept like a baby all night long.  Today, I've been busy building my new website for the retreats.  If you are here and you haven't seen in... go check it out!  www.crazycropperretreats.com  It's kind of cool!  I'm hoping it will take the place of my blogs that people have had problems with.

Anyway, it's good to be home.  I just wish I were unpacked.  Ugh.

CMN Day Crop

Judy and I went to the CMN Day Crop at Wesley UMC yesterday and had a blast!  Lots of people we knew were there and it was just a great day in general.

I got the new Me and You kit from CTMH which would even be available until May, National Scrapbooking Month!  It is absolutely gorgeous!  And so fun to put together.

After I finished that, I worked on some cards with my new new ribbon punch!  Love that thing!

Well, today is my last full day to get packed for the retreat, which starts next Thursday.  I've got so much done and I'm actually down to the little things, so this day should be very productive!

And Alyssa is coming by to get her dress.  I hope she loves it!

Off to finish my coffee and then GET BUSY!

One Week From Today is My Retreat!

I can't believe we are getting so close.  So much has gotten done, but it seems there is just SO much more to do!  I don't know what I'd do without friends who seem to enjoy helping get ready for this.  It has just gotten so big!  And I create so much work!  But, I think that's what makes it SO much fun!
