It's been a Great Weekend!

The weather has been awesome!  I love these cooler temps and I love having my house open all day.  I've been very busy, but very productive.  I'm about to sit down and kick my feet up for a little bit.  I've been going 90 to nothing all weekend and, by golly, I deserve it!

Once Again...

I'm been so stinkin' busy!  Not only is my Fall Crazy Cropper Retreat sneaking up on me, I've committed to having a vendor booth and teach classes at a 3 day crop in Joplin (KISS Crop N Shop).  This is starting to feel like one of those "go big or go home" deals.  Over 300 ladies in attendance!  I'm not even sure where to begin, but almost 100 page kits is a good start!  Then, I have to figure out what product I'm going to take.  Michelle and I are working on card and tag kits and then, thankfully, Vickie and Keli are going to take care of setting up the booth and helping us out that weekend.  If we aren't busy, we'll at least have fun!!!

I was quite excited to learn that my "Learning Your Cricut" class is the #1 Best Seller in the classes!  WOOHOO!!!!  I'm on a best seller list AND I'm #1!!!!

Ok, off to take some Tylenol and try to curb this headache I get every time I start to think about it!

August has been Hot and Crazy!

I'm so glad we are getting some break in the heat!  It's been terrible, but the cooler nights are so welcome.

I held my Close to My Heart Open House last Saturday and had quite a houseful!  I think there were about 50 ladies here and we had a wonderful time!  So many new, fabulous products to share, not so mention a brand new, Cricut Cartridge... Artiste!  You know how that won my heart!  I was so excited to introduce it to all my customers and they were almost as excited as I was!

Now, it's time to get crackin' on the retreat!  It'll be here before we know it!

40th High School Reunion yesterday

I have to admit... I was hesitant to go.  But, I'm so glad I did.  It was amazing seeing everyone and the memories were awesome!  40 years is a long time and while most of us have changed, a lot of our personalities and voices were the same.  And smiles.  That's what I remembered the most about people.  I can't wait for the next one, now. 

WOW!

That's all I can say about Convention this year.  It was amazing.  So many new products, so many friends, so many laughs and tears and so much excitement.  There is no way to explain what Convention is like... you simply have to experience it.  And then, you have to recover from it!  And that's going to take a while. 

TOMORROW!!!

Well, it's finally here!  We leave in the morning for Dallas!  I am so ready.  I am packed and I do believe I am ready to go.  Peggy should be here anytime.  We are going to have a quiet night and get a good nights' sleep and be ready to go in the morning!  YEEHAA (that's Texan for woohoo!)

THREE MORE DAYS!

Til we leave for Convention!  Dallas, TX, here we come!!!  I just hope Peggy and Miranda are as excited as I am... they have to be, if not more!  This will be the first time for both of them.  They have to be going crazy about now!  I'm just about ready.  I've got some laundry to do, but other than that, I've just about got everything together.  I've packed all my stuff for the creative sessions.  I'm in the process of updating the maps on my GPS.  I've got a new book on my Kindle.  I've got 2010 Word coming so I can get my laptop updated.  New credit cards are activated.  Nails are done.  Snacks and supplies purchased.  Now, to just get there, see all the new stuff and start spending money!!! WOOHOO!!! Isn't it great to have a good reason to do so!!!
